This is a full-time, remote position based in Charleston, Kanawha County. This role is not an internship and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance. The annual salary for this position is 174,281 USD.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day technical direction and architecture of the engineering team.
- Establish and enforce rigorous engineering standards and best practices.
- Lead the development of a secure, event-driven digital submission platform.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate federal requirements into technical specs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
- Strong expertise in building secure, scalable event-driven architectures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Public Trust clearance.
- Extensive experience in professional software engineering services.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with federal agency customers.
