This is a full-time, fully remote position based out of Albany County, NY State Campus. This role is not an internship. The annual salary is 189,741 USD. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a United States Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day technical direction of the software engineering team.
- Set and enforce engineering standards to ensure code quality and security.
- Lead the development of a secure, event-driven digital submission platform.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with federal agency stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
- Strong expertise in building secure, scalable event-driven architectures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
- Deep knowledge of modern software engineering principles and practices.
- Experience working with federal agency customers or highly regulated environments.
