This is a full-time, fully remote position based in the United States (Cedar, Cole County). This role is not an internship. The annual salary for this position is 180,012 USD.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day technical direction and architectural decisions for the engineering team.
- Set and enforce rigorous engineering standards and best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Lead the design and implementation of a secure, event-driven digital submission platform.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
- Collaborate with federal agency stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software engineering with a proven track record in technical leadership.
- Strong expertise in building secure, scalable, event-driven architectures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance.
- Experience managing technical debt and implementing robust engineering workflows.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating between technical teams and clients.
