This is a full-time, fully remote position based out of Jackson, Hinds County. This is not an internship. The role offers a salary of 154,944 USD. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a United States Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day technical direction and architectural decisions for the engineering team.
- Establish and enforce high-quality engineering standards and best practices across the project.
- Lead the development of a secure, event-driven digital submission and processing platform.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate federal agency requirements into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or lead software engineering role.
- Strong expertise in building scalable, event-driven architectures and secure platforms.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles and modern development lifecycles.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating between technical teams and clients.
