Job details
This is a contract position based in Indianapolis, Marion County, but is offered as a Remote opportunity. This role is not an internship. The compensation for this position ranges from 54 per hour (W2).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex WordPress themes and custom plugins to meet client specifications.
- Optimize website performance and ensure fast loading times across various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design mockups into functional web pages.
- Implement security best practices to protect WordPress installations from vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to site architecture and database queries.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in WordPress development and custom theme creation.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven track record of delivering scalable web solutions for corporate or government clients.
