Job details
This is a Remote contract position based out of Indianapolis, Marion County. This role is a Full-time contract for 12 months and is not an internship. The pay range for this position is between 54/hr USD.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex WordPress themes and custom plugins to meet client needs.
- Optimize website performance and ensure fast loading speeds across all devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and site enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CMS architecture and hosting.
- Ensure all web developments adhere to accessibility and security best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Developer with a strong focus on the WordPress ecosystem.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom theme development.
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrating third-party services into WordPress.
- Strong understanding of database management and MySQL optimization.
- Ability to manage version control using Git in a collaborative environment.
