Job details
This is a Remote position based out of Indianapolis, Marion County. This is a Full-time contract role and is not an Internship. The salary range for this position is 54 per hour USD.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex WordPress websites and custom themes.
- Optimize website performance and ensure fast loading speeds across devices.
- Collaborate with design teams to translate wireframes into functional code.
- Implement security best practices to protect sites from vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to plugins and core updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior WordPress Developer or Web Developer III.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development in WordPress.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
