This is a Full-time Contract position based in Menlo Park, San Mateo County, but operating as a Remote role. This is not an Internship. The compensation for this position is listed at 60 to $80 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-traffic WordPress properties for a leading technology client.
- Build and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific business needs.
- Optimize website performance and load speeds to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with a U.S.-based technology team to deploy site updates and new features.
- Ensure site security and stability through regular maintenance and code reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Developer specializing in WordPress at a senior level.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in creating custom themes and plugins from scratch.
- Experience managing and optimizing high-traffic websites.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in a remote environment supporting a U.S. team.
