Job details
This is a part-time, contract (1099) position based remotely in the US. This is not an internship. The compensation for this role is listed as $25 per hour, with an estimated annual equivalent of 58,640 USD depending on hours worked.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins to improve site functionality.
- Optimize website performance and ensure fast loading speeds across all devices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new features and design updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure all web pages are fully responsive and cross-browser compatible.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress page builders and custom post types.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail regarding UI/UX.
