This is a Full-time, permanent position based in the UK. The role is Remote, though occasional business travel may be required. This is not an internship. The salary range for this position is ยฃ70,000 - ยฃ80,000 GBP per annum.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure to support global business operations.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning using modern DevOps tools.
- Monitor system health and resolve complex platform issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices for cloud identity and access management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or Cloud Architect specializing in AWS.
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of AWS core services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Must be based in the United Kingdom for legal and operational requirements.
