Role overview
Mindrift is seeking a skilled Chatbot Developer to join the Tendem project. In this role, known as an AI Pilot, you will design and build sophisticated conversational bots and messaging-platform integrations. You will work within a hybrid AI-human environment, combining technical bot engineering with conversational design to enhance the Tendem ecosystem.

This is a Freelance position based in Glasgow, Scotland, operating in a Remote capacity. This role is not an internship. The offered salary is 99,329 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy conversational bots using WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord APIs
- Collaborate with AI agents to automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows
- Implement conversational design patterns to improve user interaction quality
- Integrate messaging platforms into the Tendem hybrid AI-human environment
- Perform quality control and iterative testing on bot responses and logic
Requirements
- Proven experience with WhatsApp Business API, Telegram Bot API, or Discord API
- Strong background in bot engineering and conversational AI design
- Ability to work independently in a freelance, remote capacity
- Experience integrating third-party APIs into complex software ecosystems
- Proficiency in programming languages suitable for bot development
