Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-quality user interfaces for digital modernization projects
- Ensure all web components comply with WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards
- Collaborate with the DoIT team to translate design wireframes into functional code
- Conduct accessibility audits and remediate UI issues to improve inclusivity
- Optimize frontend performance across various browsers and mobile devices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a focus on accessibility
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Expertise in accessibility testing tools and WCAG guidelines
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with government stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
