This is a Full-time, Remote position based in Cardiff County, Wales (UK). This role is not an Internship. The offered salary range for this position is 75,000 GBP to 90,000 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of delivering end-to-end data engineering solutions from design to deployment.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of greenfield data projects on cloud platforms.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design robust data solutions from source systems to final consumption layers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lead Data Engineer working with Snowflake and cloud ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery and manage end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and modern data integration tools.
- Experience working within high-growth organizations on greenfield initiatives.
