This is a contract position based in Leeds with remote work options (mostly remote, monthly Leeds visits). The role is inside IR35 with a competitive day rate of £450. The initial 6-month contract focuses on secure software delivery, platform engineering, and healthcare messaging systems. Candidates must hold or be eligible for SC security clearance and participate in on-call rotation (1 in 6 weeks once trained).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based platform services for healthcare integration
- Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery
- Support nationally critical healthcare messaging systems
- Participate in on-call rotation (1 in 6 weeks) for production support
Requirements
- Senior-level Python development experience
- Strong AWS cloud platform knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Terraform infrastructure as code
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation skills
- SC security clearance or eligibility to obtain it
- Willingness to travel to Leeds approximately once per month
