This is a contract position based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, operating on a remote work mode with travel to Leeds approximately once per month. The role requires SC clearance or eligibility and includes on-call responsibilities (1 in 6 weeks once established). The daily rate is £450 GBP inside IR35. The successful candidate will work on secure software delivery for healthcare systems, leveraging Python, AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to maintain and enhance critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python applications for healthcare integration platforms
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS services
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery
- Participate in on-call rotation to support critical healthcare systems
- Collaborate with platform engineering teams on system architecture
Requirements
- Senior-level Python development experience with production systems
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools and secure software delivery practices
