This is a full-time, remote position based out of Ewell, Epsom. This is not an internship. The salary range for this role is £65,000 - £105,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead Developer to design and implement scalable data models.
- Develop and maintain backend services that feed critical BI tools.
- Ensure data is clean, consistent, and readily available for analysis.
- Optimize database queries and backend performance for data-centric projects.
- Implement and refine ETL processes to streamline data movement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Proven experience working in data-intensive environments or data-centric projects.
- Advanced knowledge of MySQL development and optimization.
- Solid understanding of ETL best practices and data pipeline architecture.
