This is a contract, full-time position based in Philadelphia, PA, offering a remote work mode. This is not an internship. The compensation for this role is $72,374 USD per year.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a mobile-responsive website for the CDIP division.
- Ensure all web content meets strict accessibility standards for public sector use.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to implement intuitive user interfaces.
- Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage WordPress updates, plugin integrations, and security patches.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of live sites.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Experience building responsive layouts that work across all device types.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment for a government client.
