This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Hulme, Manchester. This is not an internship. The offered salary range for this role is £58,000 - £98,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and document high-quality web-based applications.
- Maintain and support existing software systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop professional working relationships.
- Implement object-oriented techniques to create scalable and maintainable code.
- Optimize relational database queries and schema designs for efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial software development experience using PHP.
- At least 1 year of commercial experience working with NodeJS.
- Proven experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL or Postgres.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical collaboration.
- Beneficial experience working with the Symfony framework.
