This is a Full-time position based in Toronto, Ontario, offering a Remote work mode. This is not an Internship. The salary for this role is 114,400 CAD.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data platforms using AWS Redshift, RDS, and ECS.
- Implement event-driven architectures utilizing SQS, SNS, and AWS Lambda.
- Build and maintain complex data pipelines using Managed Airflow.
- Optimize SQL queries and relational database schemas for high performance.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate cloud services and API endpoints.
- Manage and configure cloud infrastructure within Linux/Unix environments.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in cloud engineering or data engineering.
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS services including Redshift, RDS, and Lambda.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of SQL and relational database management systems.
- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals and Linux/Unix systems.
- Proven experience implementing event-driven cloud architectures.
