This Senior Backend Software Engineer position involves developing high-performance backend systems in a serverless environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust grading and feedback solutions that serve educational institutions and their users at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend systems using AWS Lambda and serverless technologies
- Build and maintain grading and feedback services for educational platforms
- Optimize performance and reliability of high-traffic backend infrastructure
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, frontend, and QA teams
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in AWS Lambda and serverless architecture patterns
- Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred) and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of API design, microservices, and backend best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in remote teams
