This is a Full-time position based in Scranton, Lackawanna County, but is offered as a Remote role. This is not an Internship. The salary for this position is 111,460 USD.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive technical planning and architectural design for .NET applications.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code using C# and the .NET framework.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the Department of Veterans Affairs to define requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior development staff.
- Ensure application security and performance optimization across all deployed modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the production environment.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Senior C#/.Net Developer.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and related backend technologies.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with government agency personnel.
