Role overview

Ceox is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a multi-disciplinary team working on a high-impact UK Public Sector project. The successful candidate will focus on developing and deploying advanced modelling and forecasting capabilities within a large-scale organisational environment, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution.

Job details

This is a Remote contract position based in the UK. This role is not an internship. The salary for this engagement is 65,683 GBP. You will be responsible for building time series and supervised learning solutions to drive data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex analyst and business requirements into well-defined modelling problems.
  • Develop and deploy robust forecasting and modelling capabilities for large-scale environments.
  • Build and evaluate time series and supervised learning solutions to meet project goals.
  • Perform LLM evaluation to ensure the quality and accuracy of generative AI outputs.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate data science solutions into production.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
  • Expertise in building and validating time series and supervised learning models.
  • Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment on public sector projects.
