Job details
This is a contract position based in the UK with predominantly remote work and hybrid flexibility. The contract length is 6 months, inside IR35. Salary range is £130,000 to £195,000 GBP per annum. The role requires senior-level DevOps expertise with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, automation, and continuous delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable service operation and continuous improvement of deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Support operation of critical production services
- Drive software delivery improvements across the programme
- Collaborate with development teams on cloud architecture
- Monitor and optimize cloud platform performance
Requirements
- Proven senior-level DevOps engineering experience
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Public sector or large-scale programme experience preferred
