Job details
This is a Contract position based in London, UK. The role is primarily Remote, requiring onsite presence in London once every three months. This is not an Internship. The salary range for this contract is £156,000 to £182,000 GBP per annum (calculated from daily rates).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and Django.
- Support the expansion of the AI-driven Smart Pricing platform across European markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable software architecture.
- Optimize application performance to handle high volumes of retail data.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in the Django framework.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable system architecture.
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments or FTSE 100 companies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment with occasional travel to London.
- Proficiency in integrating AI-driven modules into production backend systems.
