Job details
This is a Contract position based in South East London. The role operates on a Remote-first basis with a requirement to visit the London office once every three months. This is not an Internship. The salary range for this contract is £156,000 to £182,000 GBP per annum.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django for a Smart Pricing platform.
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments.
- Scale existing pricing infrastructure to support expansion across European markets.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Optimize database queries and system performance to handle high-volume retail data.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience as a Senior Python Developer with a focus on Django.
- Proven track record of delivering high-availability backend systems in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and API design patterns.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and AI-driven applications.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with occasional travel to London.
