This is a 100% Remote contract position based in the US. This role is a professional contract engagement and is not an internship. The offered salary for this position is 122,871 USD.
Responsibilities
- Refactor ARDA application code to transition from a shared PSI database to a dedicated PostgreSQL instance.
- Eliminate dependencies and conflicts arising from shared database environments.
- Develop and enhance comprehensive application-level technical documentation.
- Review and update existing database schemas to optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure a seamless migration with minimal downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior PostgreSQL Developer or Database Engineer.
- Strong expertise in SQL and database refactoring patterns.
- Experience migrating applications from shared to dedicated database instances.
- Ability to write clear, detailed technical documentation for complex systems.
