This is a full-time, remote position based out of Poynton, Stockport. This role is not an internship. The offered salary range for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend systems using Go.
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS services and DevOps principles.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers to improve code quality and technical skills.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and system performance.
- Oversee the technical roadmap to ensure maintainability and long-term stability.
- Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for software development.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead.
- Deep technical expertise in Go and backend systems architecture.
- Strong proficiency with AWS cloud services and modern DevOps workflows.
- Experience leading small teams and mentoring other engineers.
- Familiarity with React or frontend collaboration is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality code.
