This is a Full-time contract position based in Menlo Park, San Mateo County, but is offered as a Fully Remote role within the U.S. This is not an internship. The compensation for this role is 78 per hour W2, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain large-scale enterprise WordPress websites for a global technology brand.
- Build and optimize custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with the Central Web Development team to enhance site functionality and performance.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all web properties.
- Implement security best practices and performance optimizations for high-traffic sites.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience as a WordPress Developer focusing on enterprise-level sites.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Proven track record of developing custom themes and plugins from scratch.
- Experience working within a global technology organization or similar corporate environment.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote capacity while meeting strict deadlines.
