This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. The Technical Lead will set engineering standards, guide architectural choices, and mentor engineers across the technology stack. You will own the day-to-day technical direction of a motivated team building cloud-native, secure solutions for government operations. Salary: $194,846 USD annually.
Responsibilities
- Own technical direction and day-to-day engineering decisions for the platform team
- Drive architectural design for secure, event-driven digital submission systems
- Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices across the stack
- Mentor and guide engineers in technical skills and professional development
- Collaborate with federal agency stakeholders on platform requirements and delivery
Requirements
- 7-10 years of software engineering with 2+ years in technical leadership roles
- Strong experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Proven track record setting engineering standards and mentoring teams
- Experience building secure, compliant systems for government or regulated industries
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and team engagement
