This is a Full-time position based in Canada. The role is Remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the region. This is not an internship. The annual salary for this position is 44,000 CAD.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve client technical issues through a dedicated support ticket system
- Perform regular updates for WordPress core, plugins, and themes to ensure stability
- Execute site edits and customizations within the WordPress dashboard and code
- Implement security optimizations and performance tuning to improve site speed
- Troubleshoot and recover down or broken websites to minimize client downtime
- Coordinate with hosting support teams to resolve server-level technical problems
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong technical portfolio
- Proficiency in managing WordPress installations, themes, and plugin ecosystems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for direct client interaction
- Ability to handle client concerns and complaints with professionalism and patience
- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and fixing critical site errors
- Experience working with a ticketing system to manage multiple concurrent tasks
