This is a Full-time Contract position located in Virginia, US, operating as a fully Remote role. This is not an Internship. The annual salary range is 110,240 USD to 197,600 USD.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end redesign and development of the organization's WordPress website.
- Ensure full ADA compliance and web accessibility standards across all pages.
- Develop and deploy modern, responsive web components to improve user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into functional technical specifications.
- Optimize website performance, loading speeds, and overall SEO architecture.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of live sites.
- Deep understanding of ADA compliance and WCAG accessibility guidelines.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for custom theme development.
- Experience managing the full deployment lifecycle of a professional website.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment for a 6-month contract.
