Role overview
Mindrift is seeking a skilled Freelance Bot Developer to join the Tendem project. In this role, acting as an AI Pilot, you will design and implement conversational bots and messaging-platform integrations within a hybrid AI-human environment. You will collaborate with Tendem Agents to automate repetitive tasks while providing high-level bot engineering expertise and conversational design judgment.

This is a Freelance position based in Texas, US, operating in a Remote capacity. This is not an internship. The annual salary for this role is 90,794 USD.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy conversational bots using WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord APIs
- Integrate messaging platform capabilities into the Tendem hybrid AI environment
- Collaborate with AI agents to optimize automated workflows and repetitive tasks
- Apply conversational design principles to improve user interaction and bot quality
- Maintain and iterate on bot functionality based on performance metrics and feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience developing bots for WhatsApp Business, Telegram, and Discord
- Strong proficiency in API integration and backend development
- Experience with conversational design and user flow optimization
- Ability to work independently in a freelance, remote capacity
- Strong problem-solving skills within AI-driven ecosystems
