Mindrift is seeking a skilled Freelance Bot Developer to join the Tendem project. In this role, known as an AI Pilot, you will build sophisticated conversational bots and messaging-platform integrations within a hybrid AI-human environment. You will collaborate with AI agents to provide engineering expertise and conversational design judgment to enhance user interactions.

This is a Freelance position based in Houston, Harris County, operating in a Remote capacity. This is not an internship. The offered salary for this role is 81,044 USD.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy conversational bots using WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord APIs
- Collaborate with Tendem Agents to optimize repetitive task automation
- Apply conversational design judgment to improve user experience and flow
- Engineer robust messaging-platform integrations within a hybrid AI environment
- Perform quality control and iterative testing on bot interactions
Requirements
- Proven experience with WhatsApp Business API, Telegram Bot API, and Discord API
- Strong background in bot engineering and conversational design
- Ability to work independently in a freelance, remote capacity
- Experience integrating AI models into messaging platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail
