Role overview

Mawari Technologies is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the development of the Mawari Network. This senior leadership role focuses on orchestrating a decentralized ecosystem of GPU-powered nodes utilizing a proprietary rendering and streaming stack optimized for XR. You will oversee the blockchain layer that enables staking, licensing, and reward distribution across a distributed network.

This is a full-time, Remote position based in Canada. This is not an internship. The offered salary range for this role is 150,000 CAD to 180,000 CAD.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale the blockchain layer to support thousands of distributed GPU nodes.
  • Design and implement systems for staking, licensing, and reward distribution.
  • Optimize the Mawari Engine for high-performance XR rendering and streaming.
  • Lead the technical strategy for the decentralized network ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network transparency and fairness.

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proven expertise in Web3 principles and blockchain architecture.
  • Strong background in distributed systems and network orchestration.
  • Experience with GPU-accelerated computing or high-performance streaming stacks.
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects in a remote-first environment.
