Teak is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help reinvent the refund experience. You will be responsible for building an agentic layer on top of established platform APIs, enabling partner AI agents to streamline commerce and refund protection. This is a Full-time position based in the US. The role is Remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. This is not an Internship. The offered salary for this position is 113,361 USD.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an agentic layer on top of existing platform APIs to support AI-powered commerce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into the embedded refund protection platform.
- Design scalable architectures for AI agents to interact with insurance carriers and booking platforms.
- Optimize AI model performance to ensure a seamless digital purchasing experience for millions of users.
- Implement robust testing and evaluation frameworks for agentic AI behaviors.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior AI Engineer or similar role in a software engineering environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI frameworks and LLM orchestration.
- Deep understanding of API design and the ability to build scalable SaaS integrations.
- Experience developing autonomous agents or agentic workflows in a production setting.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
