This is a full-time, remote position based out of Kenton, Harrow. This role is not an internship. The annual salary range for this position is £63,000 - £103,000 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and JavaScript
- Design and implement microservices architecture to support a complex platform
- Optimize database queries and schemas using MySQL and MongoDB
- Implement robust security practices to protect sensitive financial data
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure high availability and system reliability
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience with Node.js and JavaScript
- Proven track record of participating in the development of complex platforms
- Strong proficiency with MySQL and MongoDB databases
- Deep understanding of security best practices in a backend environment
- Ability to quickly master new technologies and programming languages
