This is a Full-time position based in Canada. The role is Remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the country. This is not an Internship. The salary range for this position is 117,600 CAD to 252,000 CAD.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend services using Golang to support analytics instrumentation.
- Develop scalable data collection pipelines to monitor platform performance and user behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators and tracking requirements.
- Optimize existing instrumentation code to reduce latency and improve system reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation for backend architecture.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on Golang.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture patterns.
- Experience implementing analytics instrumentation or telemetry in a production environment.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first, asynchronous communication culture.
- Proficiency with version control systems and modern CI/CD workflows.
