This is a full-time, remote role based out of Hanley, Stoke-On-Trent. This position is not an internship. The offered salary range is £45,000 - £85,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using PHP 8.4 and Laravel 12.
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture and event-driven workflows.
- Manage and optimize MongoDB databases for efficiency and reliability.
- Containerize applications using Docker for consistent deployment across environments.
- Utilize AWS services including ECS, EC2, S3, and SQS to manage cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining MongoDB databases.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous messaging.
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and deployment pipelines.
