This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Chilworth Science Park, Chilworth. This is not an Internship. The offered salary range for this role is £69,000 - £109,000 GBP per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable back-end services using PHP 8 and Laravel
- Implement clean, reusable code following OOP principles and design patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
- Optimize database performance and manage data structures using MySQL
- Manage source control and versioning using GIT for team collaboration
- Deploy and maintain applications within GCP or AWS cloud environments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a strong LAMP stack background
- Expertise in PHP 8 and modern MVC frameworks, specifically Laravel
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and software design patterns
- Proficiency in MySQL, Linux administration, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
- Solid foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience working in collaborative team environments using GIT
