This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new in-house engineering team, working on a greenfield project to design and build a modern platform from the ground up using an AI-augmented development workflow.

This is a Full-time, Remote position based out of Manchester, Greater Manchester, UK. This is not an internship. The salary for this role is £65,000 GBP.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a modern platform from the ground up using PHP and Laravel
- Collaborate with the new in-house engineering team to define technical architecture
- Implement an AI-augmented development workflow to increase efficiency
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior members of the engineering team
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience with PHP and the Laravel framework
- Proven track record of working on complex, large-scale backend applications
- Experience with greenfield project development and system design
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and design patterns
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
