This is a Full-time position based in Canada. The role is Remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the country. This is not an internship. The salary range for this position is 130,000 CAD to 190,000 CAD.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services for the Deal Reasoning Engine
- Optimize data processing pipelines to handle complex legal and financial documents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API specifications and system architecture
- Maintain high code quality through rigorous testing and peer code reviews
- Improve system performance and reliability to support high-stakes dealmaking environments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong track record of delivering scalable software
- Deep understanding of database design, optimization, and distributed systems
- Proficiency in modern backend languages and frameworks
