This is a full-time contract position working remotely from anywhere in the US. The Web Developer will collaborate with BCforward's global IT consulting team to deliver robust WordPress solutions for enterprise and government clients. You'll work on custom theme development, plugin integration, site optimization, and ongoing maintenance of mission-critical web properties.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites for Fortune 500 and government clients
- Build custom WordPress themes and integrate third-party plugins
- Optimize site performance, security, and user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver web solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across WordPress environments
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional WordPress development experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development
